Digital Millennium Copyright Act Policy
Welcome to (the ‘Site’). We respect the intellectual property rights of others just as we expect others to respect our rights. According to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), copyright owners and their representatives can submit a takedown notice to us through our DMCA Agent. As an internet service provider, we are protected by the “safe harbor” provisions of the DMCA against infringement claims. To submit a valid infringement claim, certain information needs to be provided:
Notice of Infringement – Claim
- A signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative;
- Identification of the copyrighted work that has been infringed;
- Details of the infringing material and its location;
- Contact information of the complaining party;
- A statement confirming the unauthorized use of the material;
- A statement verifying the accuracy of the notification and the authority of the complaining party.
Failure to provide accurate information may result in civil penalties under Title 17 USC §512(f). Takedown notices should be sent via our Contact page by email.
It is important to note that we may share the identity and information of the complaining party with the alleged infringer. By submitting a claim, you agree to this.
Counter Notification – Restoration of Material
If your material has been taken down due to a copyright claim, you can submit a counter notification to have it restored. The counter notification must contain:
- Your signature;
- Description of the material removed and its original location;
- A statement confirming the belief that the removal was a mistake;
- Your contact information and consent to jurisdiction.
Counter notices should be sent through our Contact page via email.
Repeat Infringer Policy
We have a strict policy regarding repeat infringers. Any user found violating copyright laws repeatedly will have their account terminated.
Modifications
We reserve the right to make changes to this DMCA policy at any time. It is advisable to check back periodically for updates.
